Camp Live, Laugh, Love is a free camp sponsored by Children's Bereavement Network which is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Gaylord, MI. It was founded in the year 2000 and has had successful camps each summer. The camp is from Friday through Sunday. It is designed for children ages 7-16 who have experienced the death of a parent, other relative or close friend. The weekend is filled with traditional fun camp activities and grief education combined with emotional support and healing circles. All camp activities are facilitated by trained caring professionals and volunteers. Each camper is assigned a teen buddy, who is a specially trained mentor, to provide one-on-one companionship through-out the weekend. Many, who have themselves been campers, return as a teen buddy and some have become leaders. We have limited numbers for campers so we do ask that only Michigan campers apply. We will review all applications before notifying of status. Without the volunteers and caring people and organizations who donate, this camp would not be possible! Thank you!
CBN Board Members are all volunteer members and work very hard to make sure that your children's welfare and safety are the focus of Camp Live Laugh Love!
